Setting up the mood for the Arupa showcase, taking place in a secret London warehouse on Saturday the 12th of March, the Stump Resident, Chrissy Hope lets us in on an idea of what is about to go down during the 24-hour marathon alongside A-Bril, Carlos Ryan, Denis Andreev, Jonas Hassan, Leanca, Kyle & Sam and Vadim Oslov. 

Chrissy started his musical journey as a resident for Rhythmatic in 2014. Fast forward to 2016, his deep rolling grooves secured him another residency at one of London’s most popular events Stump. The London-based Producer & Dj serves raw sounds through this mix, with a focus on percussive sonorities, dubby atmospheres, and a patiently-built groove, making for the perfect glimpse of a promising showcase.

However, the year of 2016 marked the moment he irremediably fell in love with electronic music. An impulse that echoed in the back of his mind kept whispering that he needed to do something to leave his mark upon the world, so in 2018 he started to learn the art of music production.
