Alex Micca and Sole Llorente return to Gain Records with Techno Protocol, a three-track EP that showcases their individual voices and collective force.

The title track “Techno Protocol” opens the release with authority: a futuristic club weapon built on galloping low-end, spacious reverbs, and metallic sound design. It’s a statement of intent—functional, immersive, and surgically crafted for the dancefloor.

“Mantis” sees Alex Micca ride a sharper, percussive groove—dry, focused, and tightly wound, pushing tension without ever breaking form. Sole Llorente answers with “Belongs To Us,” a deeper, more hypnotic excursion where dubby echoes and haunting motifs drift through a steady rhythmic pulse.

Together, the tracks form a compact but versatile toolkit—clean, modern, and shaped for maximum impact.

Techno Protocol

MEES is a Warsaw-based DJ whose artistic vision is defined by authenticity and continuous evolution. His deep connection with music and techno culture has steadily grown over the years, revealing a natural affinity for raw sounds. In his sets, he crafts a coherent and intentional sonic narrative, blending styles such as hypnotic groove, raw techno, Detroit techno, hard groove, and dark techno.

His journey has been driven by unwavering energy and a genuine pursuit of meaningful sonic experiences. After a self-taught learning process, he began mixing independently, which quickly led to performances at clubs, festivals, and underground events—including a underground rave in Berlin.

Currently, MEES continues to strengthen his presence both locally and internationally. In parallel, he is developing his path as a producer while spearheading the creation of independent event spaces as part of the Voir collective, with the aim of enriching and actively contributing to the techno scene.
