The Audio Affect Series, a music production workshop created to amplify and empower Black and Brown creators of South LA, is a collaboration between TEC Leimert, Serato and Undefeated.

I love dance music and I'm a fan of industrial sounds. I was able to find different sounds and elements in the Serato Packs which inspired me to create contrasting textures through music.

Around The Way (Instru) - Lyric Jones

I created this piece in my room where I create most of my art and I wanted it to feel like an oasis of colors. Making music with drums and percussion being the driving force has been something I not only like listening to but I utilize to give the listener the brush to paint their own picture. I encourage the listener to be held by rhythmic and harmonic journeys. Making this track has also taught me to enjoy the moment and to be present as opposed to dwelling in the past or submerged in the future.
