This recording was made on Nov 9, 2014, at the Centre for Creative Writing and Oral Culture, University of Manitoba, and features what was then a series of works in progress, subsequently published in 'Midway Radicals & Archi-Poems (Signature Editions, 2017).  The poems were made by sampling text, in a variety of ways, from a singe source: a 1979 english translation of Roland Barthes' 1964 essay on the Eiffel Tower.

Ephemeral Monuments is a series of made, and re-made, for workshops led by Steven Ross Smith, in 2016, held at Winnipeg's Millennium Public Library, and the University of Manitoba's Centre for Creative Writing and Oral Culture, where the recording was made.

"Word Park" was made in response to a "Sidewalk Days" event, where the author chose to disrupt sanctioned installations simply reading in public. The visual poem, documenting and reflecting on the event, was first published in On Site review, n30 "Ethics and Publics", p22 and 23. A revised version appears in 'Midway Radicals & Archi-Poems (Signature Editions, 2017). The book originally read, in public, was Marshall Berman's 'All that's Solid Melts into Air', photos were juxtaposed with images from Andre Kertesz famous book 'On Reading'.
