WOW!!! What a burn, what a camp (Rhythm Wave), what a dance!!! This is a 2 wave dance that was designed to go into the depths of the underworld, have moments of popping up for air, diving back in, really riding our way to the top, and finishing with touching the depths of our soul! My intention was to span across many emotional dimensions in one coherent dance journey. The first wave ends and second wave starts at 57:24. 

BIGGESST GRATITUDE to the camp that I get to call home "rhythm wave" for every dance, tear and love shared on the dance floor and beyond, you all are such magic!

Burning Man Rhythm Wave 25' (Friday)

This one! Transglobally good groove of Gritty and gossamer, delicate and driving, spaciously dense and playfully serious Afroblessed, Latin scorched, Heart-Opening, Booty-Shaking levity. 

Here's a mix of deep, pulsing and vibrant global magic. A late night house music journey on the playa that extracts itself from an incredibly tumultuous burn: The heat, the wind, the destruction, the dust...then rain. 

The elements in all their adversity did little to restrain an incredible dancefloor at Sound Garden where I dropped MY most inspired set since attending my first burn 30 years ago. While massive thanks to the dancefloor for its constant inspiration that night, an even bigger thanks goes out to my friend Mark Duncan, the inimitable and indefatigable visionary and host who curated and produced yet another extraordinary week at Sound Garden.

(On a final note, the closing track (Florian Gasperini - Back Home) is dedicated to our friend John Rider who passed away at the burn, at camp, Weds morning. His happy place. He would not have wanted it any other way)

Kia Ora Beautiful dancing Souls!

I have had the absolute privilege over this last couple of weeks to offer scared dance to the Burning Man Playa this year. This set was curated in collaboration with my dear friend Robbie Fear for the magical beings of Burning Man on the Friday afternoon. 

This set has a slow burn with opportunities for deep contemplation and moving what is no longer serving through the body. The set is a little more low key than usual as it was a BIG time on Playa with dust storms destroying the camps several times, so we felt a full send high energy set would not serve the collective. Instead I played a phat didgeridoo track to create a beacon of awareness and depth to call in the humans for a chance to dive deep into the body and set them up for the final push in the days to come. 

This set was such a honour to co create. The viscosity of the Portal that was co created by the souls that were there was some of the deepest I have ever felt.

Woodstove Festival is an annual November highlight!  I adore this quaint little Cumberland festival, and am always honoured to play.  I've been loving Amapiano vibes these days, so I kicked this set off with some hypnotic South African styles, mixed in some Afrohouse and then cut the tempo to bump some dirty hip hop, dancehall and different styles of world and Afro beats.
