This is a recording of a speech delivered at the Black Engineers of the Year STEM Conference by Charles T. Galloway III, Teddy, before the Teamwork workshop.

1. You are the people and this is the time 
(Sickness, Virus, Culture and the Cure)

2. You have a purpose, but you have to discover (decide) it.

3. Your mind is a fertile ground where your thoughts grow into a bountiful harvest. 
(Be conscious of them or they will enslave you)

4. You have one life, so find out your WHY
(Ask better questions... what if, why not)

5. Define success for YOU! - Clear via your why
(Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal)
If you define it, move toward it, and keep it, you ARE a success no matter how things look presently.

6. You are only limited by yourself 
(dream and ability to go get it)

7. Patience, perseverance, passion, purpose and dedication
= Relentlessness (why & what are you willing to give up to do it)

8. Confidence come with action

9.Know your strengths and weaknesses

Teddy Galloway is a speaker and facilitator with a passion for radical transformation of people and organizations. He believes in teamwork, personal growth, and that every person is born with a purpose to live out. With energy and passion he delivers outstanding workshops and speeches that help solve problems and teach about the skill of connecting with others.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Global Affairs with a Concentration on the Middle East and North Africa from George Mason University. He served as a CBRN Defense Specialist in the Marine Corps, and furthered his career as a weapons of mass destruction subject matter expert for national security and defense organizations. He has consistently developing training and education programs for organizations instructing our military, allies, and corporations in a wide variety of fields and operational context. 

In 2015 he published a book called "You Are A Diamond" about personal development and empowerment through hardships.

Teddy has a history of mentorship, volunteering, and program development for young people. He supports the YMCA, United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, The Student Homelessness Initiative Partnership of Frederick County, The Center for Achievement of Frederick, and Police Activities League of Frederick all for youth development. He supports Platoon 22 and Building Veterans, nonprofits that support the benefit of veterans.

He's developed and run summer programs, mentorship programs, and programs to get homeless students out of homeless situations.
