Pedal

Mostly performing shows on his own, Ted plays with the energy of a full band, and has all the personalities to play along with.
 
The band has a unique take on Rockabilly; with deeply-carved Punk edges and the warmth of a 50's dancehall.
 
Before diving into his first real solo project, Deadly Tedley recorded at The Tragically Hip's "Bath House" Recording Studio with Vorasek. He sang backups and played bass on 3 EPs and 2 singles with them.
 
With hundreds of his own songs piling up over the years, the living skeleton began focusing more on guitar and vocals for his new project. He started writing songs in which he was the frontman. This was a big turnaround for his songwriting, as he began to hone his lyrical style, and gain a better vision for his future as a performer, songwriter, and recording artist.
 
As quick as he could, Spagehetti-legs booked time at a local studio and went in to record his first single.
 
With the help of the producer, and a few other session musicians, and his many aliases, they released “Tell Yourself” under the name, Ted Evans Band.
 
Although the single turned out sounding a little more "bluegrassy" than he wanted, Ted pressed on, and began gigging around Kingston, playing more of his original music. Since then, Ted has opened for acts such as The Mahones, The Damned Truth, Young Empires, SATE, Beautiful Nothing, and Banners.
 
The debut EP "Pedal" is set for release  03.03.17
