"As this is my first recorded ambient mix, I wanted it to be something special, a selection of my own productions, and some of the pieces that have inspired me over the years. Of course the list is longer, but I wanted to tell a story at the same time. 

It took quite a while to get it just right, but I feel like it really ended up expressing exactly what I set out to.

Lord of The Magi is a Danish ambient music producer with an impressive ability to craft immersive and picturesque soundscapes. With a profound passion for atmospheric music, he seeks to captivate listeners with his evocative compositions and ethereal sonic journeys. 

Theo as the man behind the name goes by in real life, comes from a 13 year long stint in house/soul/funk and jazz, a legacy that shines through in his ambient production. 

His biggest inspirations are names like, Iasos, Lord of the Isles, Philip Glass, Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Linkwood and many more. 

Inspired by the natural beauty of his surroundings of his birthplace, a life long enjoyment of computer game and film scores, he set out to try and get the sounds in his head out into existence.. He sought to translate these awe-inspiring visuals & digital inspiration into sonic tapestries, blending delicate melodies, ethereal textures, and subtle rhythms to create emotive soundscapes that transport listeners to otherworldly realms.

Josephine’s Soundscapes is a project comprising sound collages and Dj sets that embrace certain atmospheres of escape and electricity, a collection of random sequences, pensive oscillations, erratic voices drifting across decades (from landscape to living room), nocturnality and a rare, as in slight, intensity. Part of creative cell a_mal_gam_a with deejay Diskoan, spreading its hypnagogic shroud over a number of club nights and special events from its residency at listening club Avalovara. Josephine’s Soundscapes is an experimental incarnation of transversal studio Machines Désirantes Buró, based in Madrid.
