This song was written around 2000 and was inspired by stories of refugee camps in Australia where some African refugees were subject to unjust treatment. I hope the situation has improved, but have no idea.

I wrote this song a few years after moving away from my home town Winnipeg.

This song was recorded with my short-lived band Municipal. Eric, Paul, & Gabe playin.

I got you

I made this track back around 2008. It was improvised using the Numerology midi sequencer, connected to a few midi samplers and instruments, including the Juno 106, one of the earliest synths with midi.

Appletini

This song needs a nice clarinet or horn solo at the end. Alas.
The piano part is sampled from a vinyl record.

I am an easily distracted musician. Over the years I've made singer-songwriter, electronica, soundtrack, sound design, musical theatre, rock and punk. I live in Montreal and I perform with my current dance/music group Woo Me Myth.
