Psychedelic rockers HARSH TOKE explore sound and space through music.  On the San Diego Acid Rock band's debut album Light Up and Live, loud, heavy guitars, swimming bass lines and smashing drums warp to full throttle, working together to launch the group's "Haze Maze" of unapologetic psychedelic-blues into interstellar overdrive. Recorded by Brian Ellis (also of the prog-rock band ASTRA) and mastered by Carl Saff (Earthless, OFF!, Unsane), HARSH TOKE's Light Up and Live will be released on November 19 via Tee Pee. 

     Led by ripping pro skater and rip-roaring guitarist Justin "Figgy" Figueroa, HARSH TOKE are equal parts atmospheric and anarchic, merging raging, blind fury musicianship with unprecedented white-knuckle volume abuse.  Tense and surreal, HARSH TOKES' songs slowly build from hallucinatory haze into grand overtures of noise and feedback; a cosmic buffet of pounding, pummeling and punishing planes of sound.  Heavy.  Cosmic.  Kinetic.   

     HARSH TOKE lay down sizzling grooves with every needle on the soundboard pinned to the red.  If Blue Cheer could be called "Louder than God" in 1968, forty five years later, HARSH TOKE can easily be pegged as "Louder than Satan."  Run for your lives - into the din.

Heavy, San Francisco punk 'n' roll band HOT LUNCH has signed with NYC's Tee Pee Records. The group will release its self-titled debut LP Hot Lunch on March 12. Recorded at Louder Studios in Grass Valley, California with producer Tim Green (Jawbreaker, Christian Mistress, Earthless), the album features ten tracks of HOT LUNCH's rallying rock which has been described as "gritty blues-rock (that) keeps the tempo driving hard and heavy with generous helpings of amplified tin sludge and plenty of wailing six-string digressions" that "could have easily been plucked out of the burgeoning hard rock scene of the late '60s and early '70s, competing for decibels with the likes of Blue Cheer and the MC5" by the San Francisco Chronicle.

     Following the sudden implosion of San Francisco's heaviest (and quite possibly hairiest) rock band PARCHMAN FARM, singer Eric Shea built the heavy punk 'n' roll quartet HOT LUNCH. With vintage tube amps the size of refrigerators and a behemoth drum-kit, the group entered California's Louder Studios to record their debut album. The resulting, self-titled Hot Lunch is a ten song romp overflowing with heavy, hard-driving guitars, born-to-be-a-breakbeat grooves, throbbing, melodious bass lines and the BAD ASS vocals of Shea (the dude can really fucking sing!). This is scuzzed-up, red hot garage rock and roll that pushes HOT LUNCH to the forefront of the awesome west coast scene of bands currently redefining skate-rock. Fuck the cold leftovers, it's time for some scorching HOT LUNCH!

NYC volume dealers MIRROR QUEEN will release their new album, Verdigris, on October 27 via Tee Pee Records. A masterclass of riff-driven melodic hard rock, the LP is the follow-up to the band's 2015's LP, Scaffolds of the Sky, hailed as "a masterful mix of genre-hopping, chops and songwriting" by Verbicide.

   Combining edgy, street-level rock ‘n’ roll with more cerebral elements of poetry and literature, MIRROR QUEEN rides hard and loud, kicking out the jams at every opportunity. Here the songs are expansive and lush in their textures, with ethereal songwriting full of crossing guitar lines and an insistent, demanding rhythmic throb. Featuring additional guitars from SWANS six-stringer Norman Westberg, Verdigris is a rock monolith, all dark delight and sinister pleasure, that demands headbanging and fists raised to the sky.
