If you have been to some of my sets over the last year you have heard these tunes being played. Some of my favourite work that I have made over the last year that felt right to release on my own terms. All killer - No filler.

This is the first entry into the new series on my label called NYXPACK - a dubpack style series that will allow myself and the artists on the label to release their dubpacks without the worry of making art, helping them get promotion and also stop them getting charged extra fees from Bandcamp and other sales platforms that take a huge chunk from each sale.

Veteran word-slinger Visionobi, aka Richard Twaites, is no stranger to the Soulvent camp. After releasing his debut LP ‘Weather The Storm’ on the label back in 2023 to great acclaim, he then followed it up with the notably introspective ‘Open Book’ EP in 2024. Returning once again to his soul-soaked home, we are thrilled to announce another follow-up release, this time in the form of the Modus Operandi EP! 

More than charged up for this one, Rich’s rhythmic playful flow doesn’t hide for long on ‘Enamour’ - slinging a cacophony of rhymes at your headtop from the get-go, while Bristol and Burton-On-Trent provide the beats courtesy of Teej & R3IDY. With an array of bass textures, sound-design and cleverly constructed wordplay on offer, there’s surely enough aural candy in this one to keep your blood sugar high until next Christmas.
