Elliot Moriarty is one of the most exciting artists to make his way into the
realm of Electronic Dance Music. He started listening to, and exploring
music aged 11 years old, and it was clear from this early age that this
was a real passion. Today, he remains more determined and focused
than ever, as this passion has grown enormously over the years.
Els, as he’s also known, started off DJing at local parties and events, until
his late teens, when the mighty Ministry of Sound came calling. It was
obvious at this point that he had a natural talent for the craft, which was
noticed immediately. Off the back of this first major gig, he successfully
secured several bookings and went on to play at venues including
Pacha, Eden, Cable, Lightbox, Egg and even The O2.

As Elliot’s journey progressed, the addition of wanting to make his own
music became more apparent. He began making edits of tracks he
admired, until eventually starting to release his own productions. His
debut release on Seamless Recordings, is a true statement of his
sound. The track entitled “Elixir”, has been described as “nine minutes of
blissful enthusiasm ”, and reached number 3 in the labels top 10 most
popular releases chart on Beatport; nestling itself nicely amongst the
likes of Lee Burridge, Matthew Dekay, Ian Pooley and Hot Since 82.

Now, with a string of releases under his belt on labels including Sirin
Music, The Soundgarden, Forestrip Music, FlugLab and many more,
things are not slowing down. He has now found himself becoming one
of the top 100 selling artists on Beatport, and having received support
from the likes of Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, Guy J,
Anthony Pappa, Black Coffee, Joris Voorn and even David Guetta,
these are signs of someone you should keep an eye out for!

Istanbul-based VLKN (aka Volkan) first got into electronic music as a teenager. In 2003, he first got behind the decks, and still prefers spinning vinyl to this day. His passion for music leads him inevitably to the production side, with his 2021 EP “Senses” released on schallmauer_records. In addition to numerous guest mix invitations, VLKN curates an excellent regular SoundCloud podcast, “Analog Sessions”. On his podcasts on Soundcloud you can see that VLKN is a storyteller, but the story is in the form of music. You can feel the book changing pages and the bpm getting on the dance floor. His stories usually have a happy ending, which will make you listen to them more.
