Boards of Canada - Olson (Wrm remix)

This is the first single / track of the upcoming album "Candy Store". It is called "French Flair", in reference to the French electronic music I listened to growing up (Jean Michel Jarre, Heldon, Space Art, Didier Marouani & Space, etc). It is also a reference to "modern" day French groups like Air or Daft Punk.

The thing connecting them all: cool sounds from cool synths.

The album is called "Candy Store", as it really digs far and wide in the palette of synthesizers and other sound generating instruments.

Each track combines a more "traditional" instrument, with many synthesizers. 

For example, French Flair uses a Hammond B3 organ (a modern emulator) for the melody, through EQ and reverb. Some of the synthesizers used in some fashion or another on French Flair include:

- Roland HS-60 (Synth Plus 60, similar to a Juno-106)
- Moog minimoog (clone)
- Solina String Ensemble (clone)
- Casio CZ-101
- Crumar Bit 99
- Korg MS-20
- Arp 2600 (clone)
- Sequential Circuits Six-trak
- Sequential Circuits Drumtraks
- Emu Drumulator
- Roland TR-505
- Yamaha RX11
and maybe a few more I am forgetting.

Effects include the Korg Stage Echo, Roland Space Echo 200, various effects (from noise gate guitar pedals to plate reverb, to delays)

As to the picture, not all the synths I used are original vintage synths. Some are modern hardware clones / reproductions. They are not "quite" the same as the original, but at a glance, they appear to be legit. I figured an AI generated image of a room full of synthesizers that look legit at first glance (but upon scrutiny, it is clear something is off) would be an appropriate choice.
