Dream pop duo teepee is releasing a first single from their up coming album. Blind Tomorrow is a emotional track that tells a story about mental health struggles that the band went through in the last two years of hardships amplified by the pandemic. The single is supported by a music video that portrays when you have depression for breakfast, anexiety for dinner and panic attacks as a desert.

‘No Reason’ ​is a successful exercise in painting pictures with music where Tereza’s angelic voice captures a serene ambience, and the glistening arrangements possess a beguiling aura. The track sends us through dreamy landscapes evoked by minimal instrumentation, with Mason providing subtle touches and a vocal harmony. @teepeeband

Tereza gives her insight: “No Reason’ is a very important song for me. It tells a story about our history where men and women grew apart. We created ridiculous binarities of masculinity and femininity that has been damaging our minds and souls for centuries and we claim that it's natural. We make wonderlands out of each other saying that someone is not able to be or do something because of their gender. I think that the most dangerous phenomenon in the world is when one group calls the other group “The Others” because most of the time it leads to injustice. That is why the message of the song is that we should leave behind the dichotomies. There is no reason to keep them because all genders are splendid.”

Dream-pop duo teepee releases their latest single ‘parallel world’ from their upcoming album ‘Where the Ocean Breaks’, slated to drop on 31 January 2020 via @Springstoff.

“Everyone is searching for happiness, but maybe we are looking for it in the wrong places. While living in India, I finally realized that happiness is rooted within ourselves. It’s not about how many things you have, or how successful you are. No one else can make you happy if you are not happy within yourself. This song is about the parallel world that exists in all of us, but we just have a hard time to find it in this toxic society,” says Tereza.

“For me, out of many other places, I found my parallel world in the ocean. While living in the Basque Country, I had the chance to go to the beach almost every day, sometimes learning to surf, or only to watch the waves. The place where the ocean breaks thus became very special for me – a place of peace and concentration,” adds Miroslav.
