i think you've done a great job of drum & bass, I'm not sure that the critiques are coming from people who like drum & bass as they could be made of lots of much loved drum n bass tunes imho. The mix isn't quite there compared to the pros - but it's a lot closer than I've ever managed I think - good luck man!

I loved it. While listening to it, idw, but I couldn't stop imagine me like running and jumping between rooftops! It makes me feel like calm but concentrated. Great track! Also, I loved the progression!

I like it, but it feels like the leads/bass are a little too strong for the perc.  Percs are done well though

We created an AI-driven song to utter the unreflected musicality in which we can be both listeners and performers inside our minds. We see this concept particularly important nowadays when shared musical experience is impossible and everything is happening in the solitude of our rooms.

This is why we introduce The Matrix reference and find both melancholy and inspiration in it. We concentrate not on the dystopian idea of overpowering AI, but rather on us, both as producers and listeners, being isolated in cells of our workspaces and locked inside our heads.

In this sense, we are not so different from AI as people see it, and the ideas we intended to put into AI’s mouth turn out to be applicable to ourselves. If so, can we really expect an artificial mind to solve our problems? Can it not suffer like we do while experiencing what we do?

A Glitch in Humanity

An unofficial competition has been running on the Atmospheric D&B Facebook group to remake the LTJ Bukem & Flytronix track 'Consciousness' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LtbS_kurmg

This lovely piece of '93 bliss was unfortunately never released so the challenge was to remake it using the original samples that have been identified. Rather than trying to make a like for like remake I took the opportunity to try and some additional parts to create my own interpretation.
