Break The Boxes! This is Part 1 of 5 for the Time Travel EP from dead prez. The EP was executive produced by M1 of dead prez. The story began in Tallahassee when I met Tr!x (@TheMrPatel)who is the guy doing the hook. This version was produced by Precision (@PrecisionAMG) as was the original version of Time Travel which appeared on dead prez' latest album 'Information Age' (Boss Up / SoundWeapon / Krian Music Group)(released 2/13). The first person to feature on the song was Reek Da Villian (@reekdavillian)who murdered it. Big shout out to The Conglomerate!! I'm glad this RBG collaboration could happen. Next came Bun B (@BunBTrillOG)who in our minds when we were first mixing the song. Shout out to Houston, TX and DJ Zin. Busta Rhymes (@BustaRhymes) makes me proud to be doing music today. It is an honor to have finally linked on a tune from dead prez which fit him perfectly. He did what he does best, mash it up! Thank you comrade. Conglomerate Family! Dee-1, for those who haven't heard, is one of New Orlean's finest m.c.'s. His narrative about hip hop is classic on this song. I memorized from the first time I heard it. MC Fre I (from Duo Live)from Brooklyn, is one of the greatest m.c.'s I've ever met. And Lastly, Black Thought of powerhouse band The Roots makes his appearance on the song and steals the show. www.deadprez.com

Tef Poe returns for the sixth straight week  releasing a new freestyle featuring his Preacher In The Trap crew member Black Spade. This week Spade and Poe give us a preview of the chemistry shared between the two of them as they add the finishing touches to their highly anticipated Preacher In the Trap debut EP. They will also be releasing an Outkast/ Dungeon Family dedication  themed mixtape prior to the release of the EP.  Since the start of 2016 Tef Poe has released a new track or freestyle every week and plans to do so for the time span of #52weeks.

Week 6.

His name has been uttered by newfound fans across the country and has even been mentioned internationally. Tobe is described as an “inspirational artist” whose lyrical content penetrates the minds of its listeners & ignites re within their hearts. Tobe has a tremendously unique way of creating music that relates to a variety of demographics. While Tobe is college educated, he is also aware of his modest upbringing, its environment, and the unfavorable lifestyle typically associated with it. The Get Twisted Sundays started as just a “so gone” challenge and is now growing into a positive viral movement. Every Sunday Tobe puts together a freestyle rap with a dope video and posts it onto his social media outlets. The Get twisted fans grew massively and quickly, this grew into the creation of the Mixtape. Now Tobe is now featured on the cover of Young Magazine and has also recently dropped his Get twisted Sundays Volume 1 Mixtape. With greater things in store it has already been a long road for Tobe but he is just getting started.

MoneyHungry aficionado MistaRogers gets back to his roots on this hard hitting single featuring Stalley produced by Big Los. The chemistry and balance between Stalley and Mistarogers is displayed through out the track as they verbally assault the beat with every bar.
