A tribute to the late daughter of Yefet and Shoshana Haza and one of my favorite vocalists of all time on her birthday, Ofra Haza. This is my remix of one of her earliest songs from the 1970's, a beautiful rendition of an old Yemeni 'Diwan' (devotional) song from the 1600's by the poet Shalom Shabbazi who was also the source of the song she's most remembered for, 'Im Nin' Alu'. This song proclaims the blessed name אהיה אשר אהיה I AM THAT I AM or I WILL BE WHAT I WILL BE. The contracted form with the guessed vowel sounds taken out, looks like this in english phonetic:YHVH 🖖🏼🔥🖖🏼
