The grandest of finales. Doin what I love one last time with my mentor, my biggest inspiration, dare I say…my Ustaad, GSingh while also bringing in the newest sound on the block from Karan Takhar. Three generations represented, decades of experience at work. 

How can I forget about the fact that the same minds behind this set and mix were the ones who gave me my first competitive experience as a dancer 10+ years ago…it’s only right to close out this chapter in my musical career with those who I started it with. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me and the youth of the past present and future!!!

Presenting VSB Waris' mix from Bhangra in the Burgh and Boston Bhangra this year. From the Lose Yourself throwback in the beginning to the Busta Rhymes/Lehmber jhoomar mashup to the Undertaker sample in dhamaal, working on this mix was a very special experience. We hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did working on it!

This mix received the best mix award at both Burgh and Boston. I would like to thank the judges/committee for presenting VSB with this award.
