Voices from a Revolution is a music documentary that I wrote based on the ongoing #WomanLifeFreedom revolution in Iran. The voices used in this composition speak of death, injustice, corruption, hypocrisy, grief, anger, and suppression.
Enhanced by electronics, these voices were specifically selected and aligned in such a way so that they are in dialogue with each other as well as with the audience, calling those out who have remained silent and inviting them to join the revolution against the Islamic Republic regime’s forty-four years of human rights violations.

Can't Live Together, Can't Live Apart

The album begins with a reminiscence of the sea, reverberating waves and suspended echoes of distant, almost forgotten territories. Curved vibrations, nocturnal environments mixed with contemporary research attitudes within the world of liminal/drone music. Oblique surfaces bending in the transposition of azimuth, memory and flow becoming the result of a hypothetical jump. A plastic and interpretative configuration of a body movement, the desire to grow consciously via unresolved mimesis, compendiums of intuitive constellations, deep white light meditation.
