This is the Deluxe Edition of "Shifting", the third studio album from this continuously evolving and sonically enticing producer Teho. In this edition, the remixes from Oxia, Moritz Hofbauer, Fejka, Felix Raphael, Nihils, Lauren Mia, Tonic Walter, and Nuage complete this LP alongside two new exclusive tracks "Fracture" and "Never Look Back".
This project is presented as an introspective journey through which Teho wanted to understand his deepest fears, anxieties and traumas, but above all, to heal them. Crossing bright phases full of hope contrasted by darker moments where fury takes over, "Shifting" is the reflection of a quest towards inner peace, and of a cure which would recover the traumas of an artist who does not understand not the reasons for his unhappiness when everything seems to be smiling on him. In the lead up to his third album, Teho is back on his own imprint with first single Lyra. For Teho, Lyra is the end of an era and a new beginning in his musical and personal life. Lyra was produced right before Teho moved to his new house wearing the same name. In his own words, the long wait between the signature and the delivery of the keys was a mixture of frustration and excitement, but also a relief. LT0062 // Teho & Makoto San - Hanten
Teho and Makoto San have been in touch for a while but the story of "Hanten" started when they shared the stage together in Paris. During that night, Teho was immediately impressed by Makoto San's massive instrumentarium which is composed by many traditional Japaneese instruments, mainly percussions made with bamboos, but also by their skills while using them. At this right moment, they decided to work together on a collaboration track. Teho sent them a draft project, Makoto San have used their Bamboos, Anklungs and Gendèr to sublime the track and to build the main elements of the melodies. Atmospheric and grandiose, "Hanten" brims with tension, building to a powerful crescendo of shimmering synthesis and floor shaking drums.

Restrained, majestic and atmospheric, Teho once again displays his rich understanding of complex and nuanced production, taking us on a deep dive through sweeping synths, crisp drums and roof-raising euphoria. Through this new single, Teho wanted to find in his origins what makes him an artist. He understood that it wasnt obvious for him to become a musician at first because he never took any musical lessons, and nobody in his family was from this world. But his life experiences, his traumas, his joys, all of this gave him a lot of emotions to share and the best way for him to express them was music. In the end, he inferred that it is completely possible to draw on his roots but to build a path other than the one predestined to him. If you've been following his latest singles, you'll have high expectations for Origins. Rest assured, Teho delivers his best yet.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Labo T. is an electronic music label focused on Melodic Techno and Electronica. Founded in November 2016, the idea of this label came to its creator, @teho , with the desire to create a sound laboratory, a place where artists can try new things, a place where they can cross genres, styles and work both electronic and acoustic music.
