This is the Deluxe Edition of "Shifting", the third studio album from this continuously evolving and sonically enticing producer Teho. In this edition, the remixes from Oxia, Moritz Hofbauer, Fejka, Felix Raphael, Nihils, Lauren Mia, Tonic Walter, and Nuage complete this LP alongside two new exclusive tracks "Fracture" and "Never Look Back".
This project is presented as an introspective journey through which Teho wanted to understand his deepest fears, anxieties and traumas, but above all, to heal them. Crossing bright phases full of hope contrasted by darker moments where fury takes over, "Shifting" is the reflection of a quest towards inner peace, and of a cure which would recover the traumas of an artist who does not understand not the reasons for his unhappiness when everything seems to be smiling on him. Restrained, majestic and atmospheric, Teho once again displays his rich understanding of complex and nuanced production, taking us on a deep dive through sweeping synths, crisp drums and roof-raising euphoria. Through this new single, Teho wanted to find in his origins what makes him an artist. He understood that it wasnt obvious for him to become a musician at first because he never took any musical lessons, and nobody in his family was from this world. But his life experiences, his traumas, his joys, all of this gave him a lot of emotions to share and the best way for him to express them was music. In the end, he inferred that it is completely possible to draw on his roots but to build a path other than the one predestined to him. If you've been following his latest singles, you'll have high expectations for Origins. Rest assured, Teho delivers his best yet.

Robert Babicz returns home to his excellent BABICZSTYLE imprint with five tasty treats for your ears and your feet. Here we find Robert integrating a lot of melodies, a stack of melancholic sounds and his beloved acid lines to beautiful effect, pushing his sound in a different direction, while still sounding like classic Babicz.

Starting proceedings we have 'Melancholy' that oozes with emotion, and subtleties, deep but warm, happy but sad, with a retro feel about it, yet as fresh a s daisy.

'Cats In Space' is an epic affair, it locks you in to its spell and undulates beautifully, as we are teased along gracefully through this voyage. Gently building and locking you in to its magical spell, this gem intensifies and is one of those magical tracks that sends crowds wild. Hints of yesteryear with its trance like nods, but brought back to date by Mr B.

'Far Away' is a deeper vibe, a little tougher, and out comes the 303, but in a restrained manor here, as this sound track style gem unfurls.

'Take A Walk At The Sugarside' is more restrained acid from Robert, adding melodies and warm, but with that underpinning grittiness.

And to close things off, the Acid Mix of 'Far Away'. The analog factor is take up a notch as we are treated to some 303 filthiness, yet shrouded in emotion.

Some called him Mozart of Techno, others see the new Elvis Presley of Techno in him or the manifestation of Jesus. God, I am so modest. Don't put your light under the bed my teacher in elementary school said. Especially when it is a candle. 

No, but seriously: Whatever you might think, for me this is part of my life condensed in music and since it's almost impossible to find singers who want to work on their vocals more than 2 takes it was a practical choice to use my own voice.
