Found some water droplet samples from a movie made in the 50's, despite the horrible quality recording I decided to try use them with these chords I was working on. After time stretching them fairly extremely I was able to bring a simple melody out of them. Looking forward to more experiments like this! This is very rough, only a couple hours work from scratch. More stuff like this to come :)Enjoys!

TehSynes - Blazing Mini Mix 2016 (20min Teaser)

Got given a delay pedal from the legendary group Counterstrike (THANKS!)

Plugged it into my amp and started jamming with the longest delay time that didn't sound terrible, when I found a cool vibey riff I just decided to record myself playing it for a while, getting really into a state of trance. After I got a suitable structure I layered some drums with my MPD drum pad, left it un-quantized and moved on to the bass. 

Once I had all the music in place I started hearing melodies and rhythms in my head, this is where the lyrics came from. 

The atmosphere is thick on this one, I used a condenser mic so you can really hear all the noise and ambient sound from the air moving, after loads of layers it created a mad texture with all the delays and reverbs on the vocals, I didn't use headphones when I did the vocals so the bleed add's to it. It is also unmixed as I only have this demo recording of it I made to listen in my car.

I hope you enjoy this song, It was meant to be the intro on my first EP but the rest of the files have disappeared in the depths of my hardrive. Will keep searching!

Testing out the amazing new Ableton 10. Every sound in this (excluding the guitar) is made with the new Wavetable instrument. This is a rough first look but this track also exhibits the new Pedal effect which is on the guitars and bass synth. Drum Bus is on individual drum synth hits and Echo is on the synths. Oh! I also used capture to make the bass line and hi hats! GREAT feature, wow!!!
