For the second time Carhartt WIP Radio features a show from the Land of the Rising Sun. This time we spotlight Jazzy Sport, an umbrella for a label, two record shops based in Morioka and Tokyo, a distribution company and a production studio in Tokyo. Their musical foundations are rooted in Jazz, Hip Hop, Downtempo, Library music, and House. Each genre can be found in this mix prepared by the Tokyo based DJ and producer grooveman Spot. Besides a few of his own tracks, you will experience music by Japanese artists like DJ Mitsu the Beats, Cro-Magnon, and Physical Sound Sport, who all produce music of varied styles, tempos and grooves.

Stuttgart ist Dancehall Hauptstadt und mit genügend Events und Veranstaltern gesegnet, die die neuesten Tunes und Hypes in den Kessel bringen.
Dabei kommen jedoch manchmal die Wurzeln der von vielen geliebten Reggae Musik zu kurz: Die Foundation und Roots, genauso wie andere Spielarten wie Dub, Modern Roots, Lovers Rock, Rockers, Steppers und ähnliches, die nicht im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit stehen.

ROOTIKAL in der Bar Romatica will Abhilfe schaffen und bei einer zunächst einmaligen Veranstaltung die Perlen der Vergangenheit hervorholen und auch neuer zeitgemäßer Dub Musik Raum zum Leben geben. Wir freuen uns auf eine Session voller Bass, Vibes und Niceness.

Tek A Dee started DJing with the beginning of the year 2011. 
First his style was restricted to reggae and dancehall music, which will always be part of his style and musical character. Soon he could also discover moombahton (a mixture of dirty dutch house and reggaeton) and rap for himself, which he now includes more and more often in his sets.
 
In 2011/12 he played as a resident at Germany's first moombahton regular "Moomblast" (a Pokut Music event) alongside guests like Munchi (Mad Decent).
Besides he hosted his own Party "Wake The Town", combining dancing and jam session with guests like Kosta Kostov (Funkhaus Europa), Jonspecta & POK (Pokut Music) or Daktari (Smash Bang Records).

In December 2011 he released his debut mixtape "Dem Bow" in which dancehall and moombahton are combined, followed by his rap, dancehall and reggae mix "It's A Party" one year later. His latest mix "Dancing Mood" contains a quality selection of real classic rocksteady & reggae tunes.
