How this mix came about is a bit of a funny story… 😅

A few weeks ago, someone emailed me asking if we had any podcasts from General Rush? 

Now, I don’t usually get emails of this kind. Most people just contact us through social media. Where we usually just get a lot of blanketed self promotion and spam (you know the type…) 

But there is was... An email… 😐

I replied, and said that unfortunately we didn’t have any podcasts from General Rush. But we did have a collection of mixes from many other artists available.

Almost immediately, we received a reply back asking if there would be a podcast coming from him in future?

And then it got me thinking… Maybe I should just ask him? 🤔 

And so we did 😂 

For [nstbt_podcast_091] we present to you all: General Rush

General Rush is a name that we have seen floating around the scene for many years now. In Germany, and surrounding areas his name regularly appears on event line ups, and radio shows and podcasts. 

He refers to his style as ‘Military Hardtechno’, and it’s not hard to see why 😬

Straight off the bat, this mix is a relentless barrage of high bpm heavy kicks to the teeth. Paired with the occasional melodic breakdown, only to dive straight back in. Warp speed, this is a full scale assault on the senses!

I don’t usually approach people about podcasts, we’ve always been fortunate enough to have people send them to us at random.

So to the person who sent us that email a couple of weeks ago, here it is. And thank you for the suggestion 🙏🏻

Born in Schwetzingen Germany, Patrick aka Tekkerkane had an early interest in music. Especially the uprising electronic music genres took a big place in his heart. As he got older his taste evolved more and more to hard drum driven productions with a big love for heavy basslines. 
 
Finally he found his passion in Hardtechno, which made him also buying his first Dj gear later in 2009. His special style of mixing Hardtechno is unique in the scene. He will always serve a premium selection of brand new, forward driven, bassline heavy tracks on the dance floor, topped with some Hardtechno Classics that you never heard before in a way like this. What makes his style so special is his unique style of cutting tracks, making his sets various and loaded, heating up clubs all over Europe. Promise, you never heard Hardtechno this way!

Not just that he is definitly a music addict, you can always be sure to see and feel his energy when he hits the decks. „Hardtechno is Life, not a Crime“. Tekkerkane is a true Hardtechno Fighter!
