Originally produced by Alix Perez for their fifth artist album The Uprising, Nonames has switched up the angular grit with a star-gazing, spacey dynamic and lucid kick arrangement that’s primed for the floor. 
Keen fans will spot this instantly from Nonames monstrous Peak Season mixtape. A 27 track journey of their own material and exclusive remixes, it landed late last year and is the result of a straight-up Technics exercise: no digital trickery, no post-mix polishes, just raw, concentrated selectionism in the way only the FBs know how. Document One - Ace in the pack

After smashing the dance with these tunes for all summer, we are proud to finally release this new EP from grime and dubstep legend Plastician. One of the founding fathers of UK bass, Plastician holds down his own Terrorhythm label and one of the most popular shows on Rinse.FM, as well as being a highly sought-after DJ around the world. He was one of our first guests ever at the Trouble & Bass parties and is a long time friend who has created classics including “Intensive Snare” “Cha” and “Japan.”

This massive 7-track EP kicks off with “Bad Like Us” (and its instrumental version, “Retro”). First appearing on our Christmas compilation in 2011 and featured on the Get Darker compilation “This is Dubstep 2011”, this track gets reworked with a terrific vocal by London MC Doctor, who goes mental over an infectious grime beat slapped up with tons of old-skool rave vibes. Instant rewind, trusssss! Plastician also teams up with Doctor for the smoky foundation dubstep of “Rebel Music,” which features serious ragga chat over deep beats and bass that will have you reaching for the chalice. A must for reggae heads!

The rest of the EP is devoted to mysterious and minimal instrumental grime numbers that have been thoroughly tested on the dance floor. “Elixir” is an MC favorite thatʼs often been played on Plasticianʼs radio show—a haunted and squelchy melody laid atop skanking reggae flavors and hiccupping percussion. Deadweight handclaps and a videogame feel outdo the competition on the seriously heavy “Pwned,” while “Senate” ends this match with a roundhouse kick of wistful grime strings over a deep drums and bass. Donʼt sleep!

As summer season has begun to loom early this May, it’s with great pleasure that we accompany your sunny days to come with our sixth release on Délicieuse Records, marking the start of our newest collaboration with Colognian : Parra for Cuva.

Today’s headliner was quick to steal our hearts, as we fell hard four months ago for his title 'Swept Away' made in collaboration with his friend Mr. Gramo.

The two buddies were once students at the Hochschule der populären Künste (University of Fine Arts) in central Berlin where they studied sound design amongst many Berlin newcomers of the current scene such as Egokind, Marlon Hoffstadt, and 4nton.

We first soothe our way into the delicious world of Parra for Cuva with their piece 'Fading Nights' seducing you with a hypnotizing beat, making way into a magical moment between Nicolas and Anna Naklab, as his faithful sidekick’s vocals exuberate powerful emotion, yet still maintaining a lightness. Let your mind adrift as a thrilling sensation takes over…

Enter a state of release as the EP adjoins under the title 'Small Flowerd', a track which oozes of mind blowing sensuality. The duo creates a natural ease and is sure to fulfil your devastating hunger. A melodious air overwhelms, sending us further into the depths of our imagination.

It’s a journey, a haute couture production which comes to an end with the mastered version of their forerunner title 'Swept Away', once again enhanced by Anna’s sublime vocals, skilfully accompanying a punchy and exhilarating melody. A piece with returning synths and ethereal arpeggios affirming their undeniable loyalty to the style of “Deep Pop”, a main reason for teaming up with our German counterparts.
