They start by asking Dean why he’s not a fan of the show, before getting into the major themes those of us who will be attending expect to explore. Scott’s attempts to impose conversational discipline on the pod fail miserably but then again, it is a two-hour flight.

Iain and Scott start this week by looking at how the increasingly politicised US telecoms regulator, the FCC, will be affected by the change in government. As if to show it’s no less inclined to politicise telecoms, European operators joined forces to plead for state assistance with OpenRAN, which the guys discuss next, before concluding with a look at recent mobile spectrum auctions.
