thank u padron for having me n running a wonderful event !!!!!

this one was especially fun for me trying to rly put a focus on energy and tension with some slightly off-kilter n difficult tracks that i had been captured by recently. also thanks for all the kind words afterwards it meant a lot :>

percussive entrancement @ midnight luv

first half focuses on a lot of ~110 bpm percussive stuff, second half pushes into the ~150 range with higher energy vocal led tracks.

delving deeper into drum+rhythm heavy tunes that err on the slower side of bpm in late 2023 really gave me a better understanding of what track selection can do to the energy of the room and the energy of your sets and i've been trying much harder to freestyle with that in mind. i think this is the first set where i felt like i had a pretty solid grasp on that and i was able to think more than one track in advance in terms of building and releasing tension. i have a long way to go before i'm where i want to be but i'm still super happy with how this one came out >w<
