Rook and Knowa's "Volume 1." EP is the type of collaboration EP you would expect from two eccentric and genius audio scientists - sort of like Rick and Morty making music. This diverse release includes the Neuro, Electro-Swing, Glitch-Hop anthem "I Got a New Lady", a Moombahton influenced banger with a Jungle Book twist, some straight up sci-fi videogame experimental music, and is finished off with a cinematic head nodding remix by the young California artist, Novascope.  Combining interdimensional bass ignitions, eclectic rhythms, stylistic funky beats, and luscious grooves, this experimental EP is a fresh outlook in redefining collaboration and wide-ranging taste.  A galactic whirlpool of imaginary, innovative, and next level fusions are felt as each soundscape flows through seamless expressions.

I first heard the original "Full Disclosure" while paroozing the cloud of sounds about a month ago. A deep, jazzy and soulful tune produced by Jonathan Grusauskas aka sTimULS cLan of "lespecial" with vocal accompaniment by Hayley Jane of "Hayley Jane and the Primates". The lyrics describe Haley's experience with what she believed to be an extra terrestrial. Haley's captivating voice immediately triggered a string of emails between Jon and I concluding with the project file in my possession. This remix begins organically, mellow and very much terrestrial. It slowly double times itself and culminates on a distant martian planet. With still so very much to learn, I'm gaining more confidence in my arranging and mixing skills and will be releasing much more original music this year.
