Telepathy Council, hailing from Auckland, New Zealand is a band which brings together the fusion of arena rock with a worldly twist.

Influenced by the world around them, inspiration is taken from a wide variety of east meets west music and idealologys.The band consists of Edward Wakem on Guitar and vocals, Joel Orme on Lead guitar and Vocals and Will Isherwood on Drums/ Percussion and Vocals.

With a wide musical history between the three members Telepathy Council has undertaken a massive style change. 

Ed Wakem is the principal song writer and comes from a proud musical background playing in numerous bands including Pleasant Feedback and WSB.Influenced by The Tea Party, Smashing Pumpkins and Pink Floyd, Ed's writing style can be a hard edged blade or a solem ballard all in one.

Joel Orme brings the Auckland indie scene to big riff rock.Predominately a blues player, Joel was thrown in the deep end out of pure chance by the opportunity to play with Telepathy Council at the Kings Arms. Inspired by bands such as Sonic Youth, John Mayer and Tool, Joel's guitar sound brings an eclectic ring to the eardrums. 

Will Isherwood joined the band mid 2013 after a meeting Ed at an open mic night in Auckland. Coming from a theatre background and having played drums in the Australian production of the Buddy Holly Show, Will brings to the band a disciplined, rhythmicly melodic drummig stlye influenced by the likes of Jimmy Chamberlain, Danny Carey and John Freese.
