Awake

Telepat is the artistic vision of Patricio Ordoñana, a Mexico City-based electronic music producer obsessed with futuristic, late night sounds and visuals typically linked to the big metropolis when the sun sets and the lights start tilting. 

Telepat is profoundly influenced by a modern era of digital disruption, where intricate patterns evolve and adapt to new formats and spaces. Where movement and tension interact together in a constant game of perspectives. Where sound plays a definitive role through complex beat sequences, filtered synth patches and hypnotic layers of effects. 

Moreover, Telepat is inspired nowadays by non-conventional, fast and complex rhythms full of randomization and unexpected triggers accompanied by acidic, raw and saturated basslines together with moving soundscapes capable of generating a sense of space and hypnotism. My ultimate goal is to be able to reflect that in my music and hopefully transmit those feelings to my listeners.

Currently also working on a very exciting project focused on promoting art in multiple ways, including a record label, a clothing line and an art collective. My ultimate goal here is to promote forward thinking, intelligent work from authentic underground artists for authentic people, drifting away completely from the ongoing superficial, fake, poser, cosmic gurus rave scene.
