The young Portuguese DJ and producer has been building her profile nicely having started making a name for herself in the London techno scene and now relocating to Paris to be closer to her new Possession family. Big releases seem to come naturally to ØTTA and recent ones on Possession and Coup make no exception. 

A power hour blasting from the onset with her unique mix of hard techno blended effortlessly with smooth psytrance sounds.

Not much is known about our guest for podcast number 139, except for that his sound is dark as the night and cold as steel. Afem Syko takes you into a world of thundering kicks and roaring synths, a dystopian dancefloor vision to escape to. His uncompromising style has gained him some attention over the years, culminating in sets for organizations such as Vault Sessions as well as an impressive release on none other than Kobosil's R-Label Group imprint. We are excited to see what the future holds for this young talent!

The Rotterdam-based and Lyon raised artist Caravel built her musical expertise through various instruments and genres.

Her productions are a distinctive combination of industrial, melodic, and hard Techno. The French artist’s key performances at Le Sucre (Lyon), Blackworks (Madrid), BASIS (Utrecht), HÖR, and intense warehouse raves in Paris allowed her to steadily build her profile with enormous prospects for 2022.

With groundbreaking upcoming releases waiting in the wings and the biggest shows yet to come Caravel is about to invade the scene by storm – be prepared.

Without a doubt KRL MX (Karl Max) is one of the most promising up and coming artists currently. Another product of the Paris techno scene. Karl has been releasing some fantastic music of late including a thundering tracks on R Label Group, Exhale, Taapion as well as a remix for ARTS and superb EPs on Maison Close and the well known ISMUS imprint.

His debut solo release on Kobosil’s R Label was a powerful introduction to the inner circle of next-generation electronic artists. His music is a euphoric blend of industrial, trance and hypnotic techno.

In Lee-Ann Roberts’ hands, even the hardest techno can have subtlety and soul. The Amsterdam-based, South African-born artist has become a prominent force in the global techno scene thanks to her fierce determination and vibrant creative touch. She leads with her own NowNow label – a self-reliant platform which nods to the South African colloquialism meaning ‘soon’, a call to surrender to the moment and follow where the music takes you. It’s a mantra she’s lived by as her career has sharply risen, debuting on Spanish label Suara with ‘Miyamoto’ and instantly scoring number two on Beatport’s Hard Techno chart. She’s simultaneously been growing NowNow with her own productions dropping alongside remixes from verified legends like D.A.V.E. The Drummer, Jay Clarke and Jacidorex.

Roberts’ first break came via her own show on Cape Town’s Mutha FM before she traveled to LA and found a home at legendary Hollywood nightclub AVALON. From Secret Solstice in Iceland to Caprices, BPM alongside Jeff Mills, DGTL and Verknipt in Amsterdam to countless other gigs across the world, Roberts has continually progressed, road-testing her tracks in the pressure-cooker situations she finds herself in every weekend.

The vitality in Roberts’ sound undoubtedly comes from her broad outlook, inspired as much by the revolutionary misfits of rock as the visionary pioneers of electronic music. Her attraction to unusual and distinctive qualities in the music she makes and plays all add up to one of the most exciting forces in contemporary techno – a commanding presence that demands your full attention.

Paraíso Nayarita’—with a disruptive vision, confronted frustrations, chaotic
rhythms and the fragility of life.

PARAÍSO is an exploration of melodic rhythms and textures, strictly a techno
album because of the construction and development of the beat, although
using synthesizers as protagonists of the LP.

PARAÍSO is a listening album, yes, it is dance electronic, but made to listen.
Old-fashioned. When there were not that many clubs. Headphones on and
face the day.

“I trust that there are people who listen to hard music at all hours of the day.
I think there are more people like me, who feel hard things at all hours of the
day.”

Gabriel Galindo aka FOGGA. DJ producer Bogotá influenced by the mental avant-garde including his personal style, fast music with enveloping linear patterns, with kicks full of forcefulness and textures of underground music.
Fogga is a carrier of the industrial aesthetic from the minimal interesting point to its overall concept, positioning the industrial concept on a much broader spectrum than just one genre.
The Artist stands out for being a purist within the industrial genre, with forceful and mental sounds that he creates and connects through the musical avant-garde, which demonstrates his fluidity and good adaptation to currents and musical advances
which is why his musical productions range from the general to the particular, demonstrating his interpretation of the world and the avant-garde through his representative sound in the music industry.
Fogga is characterized by telling stories through his musical narrative, always giving his productions an objective, awakening emotions and sensations with his unique sounds that take people on a sensory and deep journey through music. Fury, melancholy and despair are feelings that influence the artist to create his aesthetics, in this way he is able to create the atmosphere whose quality is always a journey into your own darkness.
