A song about neighbors, and how the very word evokes the best and worst of humanity, especially in 2020. Recorded fall/winter 2020.

Rogers That

Instrumental experiment #1, recorded October 2019. Combines a field recording of the split-flap departures board at Philadelphia's 30th St. Station with a vibe somewhat reminiscent of ambient dub or instrumental hip-hop, but not quite either.

There Are Thirty Stations

Instrumental experiment #2, recorded October 2019. More uptempo driving beat with borrowed field recordings of sprinklers and planes alongside archival Morse Code. Might try reworking this with vocals at a later date.

Wars And Pieces

Instrumental experiment #3, recorded November 2019 from a stub left sitting around from 2017. Still learning the DAW, never quite got the bass to sit in the mix. Main beat courtesy of Nate Smith's Loop Loft album, Pocket Change.

Serial Dabbler

Instrumental experiment #4 of 4, recorded December 2019. Downtempo, melancholic piano with what sounds almost like Dead Can Dance at times, not intentionally. I am going to come back to this and add vocals and some other musical elements, and will eventually post it under a new name.
