A chanson without words, in a light melancholic but (I hope) uplifting mood.

This year I contracted pnuemonia & was bed ridden for a week. Normally my health is pretty good & sick days are far & few between. So the recovery for this sickness, took a little time & during that period I sat down at the piano & composed this improvisation as a way of reflecting on how important our health is. Movie stars & the wealthy seem to have all anyone would wish for, but if their well being isn't up to scratch, then it's all for nothing.
