It is time for us to say goodbye to the Perspective trilogy. We are giving it a send off with our biggest version of it so far, 14 tracks representing the entire breadth of dark drum and bass vibes. Artists from our home roster and also welcoming new friends. This is Perspective III.

Our vision for these VA’s to show the depth and variation that exists within the darker realms of drum and bass. There are many ways darkness can be felt, manifested and portrayed and this is something that goes far beyond just in music. Infact this goes for any medium of art but also ones life experience. These 14 tracks to round off the Perspective series each tell their own story, have their own mission… oh… and they rip the dancefloor to shreds btw…

Bringing back some of our residents such as XYDE, Dapreme, Ominous and head honcho Gifta, there is also two new talents in the likes of Kenna and Soltra to be welcomed to the family. Tracks on the VA serve as the perfect introduction of these two beast producers to the label and our fanbase. We are also pleased to have onboard: Wallhack, Scurrow, CrucifyMe, Invert Era, Hexa, KL, LeStr, Cynical Gene, Sola and Freddy B. Artists we all love, admire and will be seen again on the label in the future.

There is something for everyone in this album and we look forward to the next VA triology. Don’t be sad that the Perspective journey is over… smile that it happened… ha!

After five years of planning, writing, and refining their sound, London-based production duo Kolectiv are set to release their long-awaited debut drum & bass album, Circadian Rhythms.

The project began in the aftermath of the pandemic, when the pair started setting aside tracks that captured the spirit of a night out at a drum & bass event. Their vision was clear: to create an album that reflects the variety, energy, and progression of a rave – from the first beats that pull you into the closing sounds that carry you home.

“Going out to drum & bass nights, you’d hear so many different flavours across six or seven hours. We wanted the album to follow that same arc – like a circadian rhythm, a natural flow of time, but in this case the cycle of a rave,” Kolectiv explain.

To achieve this, the duo placed a strong emphasis on originality and sound design. Most of the album was built from scratch using their own recorded samples, crafted through sessions with keys, drums, and guitars, and only dipping into external sources when absolutely necessary. Vocal collaborations from PAV4N, Hijak MC, Illmatika and Kerry Donnelly add unique flavour to the project, while carefully placed interludes tie the project together as a complete listening experience.

“This isn’t just a collection of tracks. We wanted it to be a journey – a cradle-to-grave kind of experience – with highs, lows, and moments to breathe.”

The title Circadian Rhythms captures that intention perfectly: an audio diary of a night spent immersed in drum & bass culture, told through Kolectiv’s trademark blend of technical precision and emotional depth.

The project also coincided with a complete studio overhaul, giving Kolectiv a fresh environment to finalize and mix down the record with a renewed sense of clarity and focus.

With Circadian Rhythms, Kolectiv deliver more than an album – they present a story, an atmosphere, and a tribute to the music and culture that shaped them.
