From shattered rhythms to calming waters, "Decaying Lull" charts a transformative journey, exploring feelings and moods of tension and overstimulation that dominate the modern zeitgeist, though through the noise ending in a release, a lull of tranquility as the driving rhythms dissolve into deep ambient and environmental soundscapes. What began with jagged tension and layered sound design morphs into a release of drifting soundscapes and hypnotic ambiance.

Tel Quel has been weaving together dreamscape narrations by creating evocative sound journeys at various festivals, fashion shows, and audiovisual installations (including installations at Art Basel and Burning Man), around East Asia, North America, and Europe since 2010. Having grown up influenced by New Age, Ambient, Chill Out, Dub, Industrial, and Post-rock soundscapes his music blends ethereal drones, field recordings, textured guitars, and glitchy rhythmic sections, often flowing between moments of tension and stillness.
