Second single 'Guerrero de Los Apus', from my upcoming EP 'Cantos das Sereias e das Montanas'. This song was received in the beautiful Andes Mountains of the Sacred Valley of the Incas in Peru during lockdown (toque de queda) which was imposed within 2 days of my arrival in Peru. The song came as a down pouring of melody and words as I was gazing at the mountains contemplating being stuck in these beautiful mountains all by myself. In this moment of contemplation there emerged an image of a Warrior embedded in the Apu (Sacred Mountain) and it spoke through this song. Later I found out that that specific Apu is Apu Linley, a Masculine Warrior Apu where women come to leave offerings asking for seeds of fertility. It all began when Biomigrant, an outstanding US-born, Colombia based downtempo and world music producer, went on tour in Chile for the summer of 2020, winding up in Pucón as borders closed due to the pandemic craziness, which extended his stay from weeks to months. 
Through the fall he learned about the edible wonderland of the southern Chilean forests in autumn, and as winter came he moved to a small clearing in the woods, where he was Derrok’s neighbor. They made the most of the time working on music together, weathering the rains with hot cups of cocoa in the studio.
The EP brings together 4 songs that grew from the adventures of Biomigrant and Derrok over this period, recording ambient sounds while hiking to frozen lakes and watching the sunrise above snow tipped araucarias.

Todo comenzó cuando Biomigrant, destacado productor norteamericano residente en Colombia, viajó a Chile a una minigira en el verano del 2020 que culminó en Pucón justo en el comienzo de la pandemia, causando que su estadía por el país se dilatará de unas semanas a varios meses, aprendiendo de las bondades comestibles del sur de Chile en otoño y soportando las intensas lluvias durante el invierno.
En este último periodo fue vecino de Derrok, con quien decidieron que era la mejor situación para crear música en conjunto, mientras capeaban las lluvias tomando chocolate caliente dentro del estudio. 
El EP cuenta con cuatro canciones relacionadas a las aventuras de Biomigrant y Derrok en el sur de Chile durante ese periodo, grabando sonidos ambientales durante las caminatas invernales a lagunas congeladas y contemplando el amanecer junto a los cantos de las aves.
