It was such a deep joy to share music at the Earth Frequency Festival in 2021. AFter writing a whole album in lockdown this was the first festival I played at for a long time and had alot of new music, ready for the dancefloor, to be shared. A Remix of Deya Dova's Isles of The Great Goddess from the Planetary Grid Music Collection. Originally recorded live inside the 5,400 year old stone circle, Standing Stones of Stenness, Orkney Islands Scotland. A powerful, super sensory and emotive downtempo bass invocation to elevate the global dance floor.

Deya recorded the original song Isles of the Great Goddess in total awe, in the mystical light of dawn, inside the great stone circle. Inside the ancient Earth navel that tethers the Land to the Stars. The vision she received as she sung was of a shamanic, matristic land devoted to the celebration and reverence of Creation - As she sang she felt the Women. The presence of the Divine Sacred Feminine. The Shamanin. The vocal that flows forth is filled with the sacred flame of the ancient Goddess herself. As she sings, she see's, these are the temples of the Great Goddess Tradition.

Just like each year has it's seasons, each Zen Baboon year has it's cycles too. Following a summer spent collecting seeds of ideas and impulses from festivals and people, Daniel and Henrique tend to spend the winter months in the studio, giving musical form to the influences and personal experiences gained over the summer. 'Beat Generation' is the vibrant harvest of these accumulated adventures. Diverse as always, each track tells it's own unique story, using a colourful selection of beats and sounds. This track was originally seeded when I saw Dsyphemic in Mexico and connected with him saying "lets do an Aztek collaboration!" He was instantly up for it so i started by writing the first drop of the track. Dsyphemic then came back and and wrote and even bigger drop! I then arranged and then sent it back him where he composed the final 3/4 section. It was then my time to mix the track. A true testament to remote producer collaboration.

Temple Step. Music Producer, DJ, Sound Healer and Ceremonial Alchemist has been honing his craft in music for over 32 years. During this time he has had multiple collaborative producers groups, performed around the globe, shared countless Ecstatic Dance and Festival Sets, Co-developed Motiv Music, his music production business and Ecstatic Dance Melbourne.
 
His artist intention is to create transformative music that empowers, moves emotion and creates connection. His multicultural indigenous influences and diverse electronic music genres take the listener on a journey throughout planetary cultures and beyond.
 
To create this, Temple Step collaborates with sacred world musicians, vocalists and neo shamans from around the globe including Ape Chimba, Deya Dova, Desert Dwellers, Kalya Scintilla, Nessi Gomes, Darpan, Tahir Qawwal, Peruquois, Dysphemic, Ganga Giri, Murray Kyle, Kaliash Kokopelli, Raio, and Joony Joon.
