The age of sonic medicine continues to unfold in the shape of Poranguí and Liquid Bloom’s landmark curative music collection, ‘Kuya Sessions: Cura.’ Created as an aural container for the cutting-edge frontiers of psychedelic-assisted therapy, this extrasensory journey invites listeners to cross the threshold into the realm of shadow and light, uniting the principles of indigenous wisdom, plant medicine, and holistic psychology with the world-bridging potential of cinematic sound design.

Designed for Kuya, a state-of-the-art health clinic in Austin, TX that is incorporating paradigm-shifting therapeutics, integrative psychiatry, and regenerative medicine into a visionary approach to trauma processing and healing, ‘Cura’ offers seekers a soundtrack for their journeys toward rebalancing, and is now lovingly shared with listeners everywhere on behalf of Kuya and producers Amani Friend and Poranguí.

Embedded with the sonic signature of the world’s oldest musical lineages and enhanced with field recordings and samples from across the globe, ‘Kuya Sessions: Cura’ is best experienced in its “Journey Mix” format, where the boundaries between movements are as ephemeral as the voyage itself. In preparation for embarking on this ritualistic path, one is invited to create an environment for inner-exploration with the help of a quiet and dark room, headphones, an eye mask, and an intention of healing and discovery. 

The first installment in this four-part release series, ‘Cura’ draws upon a grounding array of instruments, vocalizations, and therapeutic musical stylings while showcasing Poranguí and Amani Friend’s tenacity for surreal, multi-dimensional sound. Distilled from the intention of providing listeners a path toward healing and a safe space from which to embark on that odyssey, ‘Kuya Sessions: Cura’ will continue to reveal itself with each subsequent visit for all who desire its therapeutic guidance.

Third up on the album brings the Australian bass music gangster Dysphemic to the stage with his dirty bass house remix of “Raqsa”. Dysphemic’s remix features the incredible Yiani Treweeke (Dysphemic’s brother) on guitar peaking at the 2nd drop. Yiani’s virtuoso licks drive the track by embellishing the main hook of the original while taking it even higher. These killer riffs soar as Dysphemic’s Moombahton style beats and dirty basslines intertwine with powerful accented turnarounds and eastern vocals.

I Channeled Pure Source at the Same Time i received the songs and planted the Seed of my new album Coming Ama, Ancient Voices.
Her intention was planted in the lush nature of Costa Rica after calling in this time of grounding and rooting in this sacred land where I felt so home and welcome. 

In a moment of remembrance of my pure connection to source, where I was reconnecting to my own center and potential of creation, this prayer bless my soul to remember that in essence we are all pure source, source of all, source of love. 

I recorded all the songs of my new Album Coming in the studio of @mosemusica in Guatemala and as a gift from the Universe i recorded Pure Source with @iyakuh there as well. It was pure magic and i feel so honoured for the incredible talent of my dear Sonic wizard Brother and after he invite my other dear and incredible soul brother @j_pool to Weave all together our magic for the final production and mastering of this version of my song. 

I will share the acoustic version in the Future and at the same Time what a gift of pure love to feel the Support and devotion of my 2 brothers and to expand together the Spirit of pure source and this prayer coming directly from source to birth this unique frequency to the world together for you to celebrate life and Dance in Unity and love
