@scenecityeu is back on Mutant with Ukrainian DJ and sound producer @oleg-patselya. Oleg is still based in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion, and is volunteering there to bring food, medicines, essentials, and send humanitarian cargo to other cities.
“I forgot that I am a musician, I forgot that my album was supposed to be released in early March. I cannot perform, write music, thereby earning money, but this is naturally not comparable to what other people have experienced.” he says. Few days ago, Oleg asked us whether he could record this mix, as “during the war I can’t go to Europe or somewhere to play on gigs because of the war, and I must stay here and help, and I lose my musical potential”

Welcome to the Cathedral of High Nasty Voltage! Today, the Temple of Joy is thrilled to introduce you to an Italian analogue alchemist who brings a crispy blend of funky funeral machines and synthy utopian cityscapes to the forefront. His raw and uncompromising dancefloor cuts are designed to ignite scorched brains in high heels.

Originally from the Adriatic Coast and now based in Frankfurt am Main, he takes on various personas. Sometimes appearing as Barbare Tendenze, other times as Raw Ambassador, but most frequently, he graces us with his music under his own name, Antonio Barbetta.

With an impressive activity spanning the past eight years, @nto-11 has released records and cassettes on glistening labels such as Mannequin and Natural Sciences records. Additionally, he is the driving force behind his own imprint, the Smashing Tape records, specialising in subterranean hardware jams.

After a brief pause in his creative journey, Antonio returns with an hour-long opus, exclusively recorded for the Temple of Joy. This hammered beauty weaves together elements of dreamy grief and erotic relaxation, creating an enchanting blend where scariness seamlessly transforms into melancholic amusement.

Prepare to embark on a thrilling sonic assault as we journey together through a landscape of flashing blue lights.

This one is special, RITUALS live set for ГУЛ/HUM that was recorded at Hvlv Bar, Kyiv on 14/10/2023.
 It captures a live performance by äsc3ea, featuring her previously unreleased music, presented during a series of ГУЛ/HUM events. 

A series of ГУЛ/HUM events, based on the same show on Gasoline, is an exploration of occult practices, contemporary electronic music trends, and the avant-garde movements of the 20th century, mirroring a show previously aired on Radio Gasoline.

Visual depicts Gobustan from Emma's motherland, where you can find prehistoric rock carvings and musical stones. Gobustan has more than 6,000 rock carvings, which depict people, ritual dances, warriors, battle-pieces, animals, bullfights, boats with armed oarsmen, camel caravans, pictures of sun and stars, on the average dating back to 5,000-20,000 years.

Hailing from Croatia, Lab Personnel is a musical collaboration turned collective and label between many like-minded artists such as Goran Lautar (aka Neon Lies), Jasmin Mahmić (aka Le Chocolat Noir, Fiume & more), Luka Kurjan (aka Man of Cloth), Marijan Katić, Nikola Kos (aka Ikonal) and Saša Rajković (aka Zarkoff, part of Sumerian Fleet, part of Neugrau & more). Over the years, they would occasionally meet for and record lengthy sessions of improvisational music. 'Marked for Disassembly' is their latest output.

This time, deep within the skeletal remains of an abandoned chemical processing plant, eight of their members captured the disquieting essence of a world suspended between haunting melodies and forgotten industry. Immersed in an atmosphere of palpable musical anxiety, their machines oozed up a sonic alchemy of experimental EBM where strange syncopated drums meet with eerie acid lines and gooey textures.

"Marked for Disassembly" is set to be released on Mar 20th across all digital platforms, accompanied by a beautiful UV printed cassette.
