Templer is the project of the Occitanian industrial chevalier Thomas Chaladon under which he designed his very own idea of Rhythmic Noise and harsh Techno. His tracks interiorize old school industrial methods but use contemporary means of production and brought Templer at the forefront of the modern industrial movement with frequent performances of leading festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen, MUK.E, Forms of Hands and Wroclaw Industrial Festival. Beside his further projects Imperial Black Unit and part of ATT Corp (together with knight Arthur Bdt.) he released on acclaimed labels like Hands, X-Img, aufnahme + wiedergabe and Phage Tapes.

Templər is a Berlin based project started in 2016 by the French artist Thomas Chalandon. Founder/owner of the Berlin based collective and record label Area Z, Templər is also half of the Imperial Black Unit duo, together with Lapse of Reason.
After the first release on Monya's label, Corresponding Positions in 2016, he recently delivered a new EP called "Human Hate" on SΛRIN's label: X-IMG.
Between Rhythmic Noise, Industrial, Power Electronics and EBM influences, Templər wants to deliver a political message in condemning the human mistakes.
By pointing out the sad realities existing in our world, his disturbing sound aims to reflect the bad side of the human being.

Premiere of 'Valhalla Gates' by Harsh Mentor & Templer, taken from Uncanny Valleys Vol​.​II VA, forthcoming on Area Z

“Uncanny Valleys” compilation series is related to the theory introduced by japanese robotitian Mori Masahiro back in 1970, referring to the paradoxical perception of the existing similarities between robots and human beings.

This second opus focuses on ‘Industrial’ music through a variety of genres and interpretations of the genres aesthetics. Opening with an infused four to the floor selection cut with a slice of power ambient, the compilation evolves into a rawer shape, with industrial, noise that embraces either nihilistic or romantic intentions.

Taking a look at music that is influenced by a genre, created in the times where the concept was created, helps us to grasp the links between the theory and music, both inspired by the development of technologies and its influences on both personal and societal aspects.

Every purchase comes with a .pdf file with the reasoning behind the volume and artists bios.
