This is not a traditional Christmas song, but rather a song dedicated to the lonely people who spend the festive season without family, friends and love.

Christmas Song - Templeton

The Net is a raunchy, shuffle-beat song with a galvanized wake up call to humanity. 
The chorus exclaims a lot of ‘Yada yada yada’ which is an urban term for a conversational gloss-over, much like ‘blah blah blah’ (empty talk).  It is also a Hebrew word meaning ‘to know’, which is what this song is truly about — to get people to know the truth and to stop listening to all the bullshit.

The lyrics transmit the deviant nature of the news and media who provide us with consistent daily, negative verbal and visual assault.  This kind of purposeful lower vibrational news keeps humanity in fear and in ‘place’ — at the bottom of the pyramid scheme.  The songs message is about how the people will inevitably take back their power from governments, religious institutions, media, etc. 
You’ll see, towards the middle of the video, a fast projection of subliminal programming, albeit in a less discrete form.  This exposes the base side of human want and nature that is exploited to keep civilization dumbed down.
 The end of the song offers the only obvious solution to freeing ourselves from the matrix or 'the net': United we stand, divided we fall — fear mongering vs. the vibration of love. 
The song also hints at the meta-geopolitical movement of the youth who are creating their own realities by connecting globally via YouTube and other social networks — a kind of subliminal unity consciousness ‘training wheels’ program that could potentially see a massive global uprising and reclamation of power.
This song is written in the style of Underworld's 'Underneath the Radar' and Muse's 'Uprising'.

This track was first titled 'Fly to the Moon'. It was also a 3-time/sing-a-long/Wilbury's type number. After a re-think, re-mix and re-master this evolved:)

Templeton showcases the songwriting of Michael Charles Dirksen, who having played with various bands since the early 90's has built up a catalogue of songs. From playing with punk outfits, to folk music, exploring jazz, reggae and classical composers, Michael has slowly moulded his sound into what he likes to call ambient rock. Having completed the construction of a recording studio, Templeton is free to dive deeper into the musical abyss and to see whats on the other side. No live performances are scheduled yet, but all studio albums are available on all major music sites.
