The idea of this track came during the quarantine, while I was trying some new melodies on my synths. It took me on a beautiful journey while I couldn´t go out of my home. Like everybody, I had my ups and downs in the process of making this track and for me, it affected it in a mad but beautiful way.

From the moment he can recall, trance music filled the air of his home, courtesy of his trance-loving parents. Immersed in the pulsating beats of the 90s, Mattéo found himself captivated by the sounds of legends like Kai Tracid, Union Jack, Hallucinogen, and Oforia. As he navigated through high school, his passion for music evolved, leading him from the DJ decks of friends gatherings. This led him into the realization that his true calling lay in crafting his own sonic landscapes.

Thus, Tempo was born, a project that serves as Mattéo's personal canvas, where he paints his emotions with minimalist, melodic, and rhythmical brushstrokes. It's more than just music, it's a psychedelic journey, a glimpse into Mattéo's soul.

In 2020, Mattéo embarked on a transformative journey, seeking mentorship from the esteemed Freedom Fighters to elevate his craft and expand his musical horizons. Through this experience, he delved deep into the essence of his musical roots, rediscovering the excitement of his youth and gaining profound insights into his artistic influences.

With Tempo, Mattéo invites listeners on an intimate voyage, a glimpse into his personal diary, where every note is a reflection of his innermost thoughts and feelings. It's not about what he's saying, but rather about what he's feeling, and through his music, Mattéo invites you to feel it too.
