Pure happenstance, I walked into Jade records, was impressed by their catalogue and got chatting to the manager and owner. 
What can I say, i'm a music nerd.
Next thing I know I was asked to play a set for their instore sessions series. Every instore session they do has a theme and being that I was in Sweden on a visual art residency I went with ‘Vinyl records I bought whilst in Stockholm’…When I travel I make a habit of buying records that reflect my current emotions and if possible the current state of the world, creating part of an archive of my time on this planet.

In today’s episode, we bring a very dear friend, Marcelo Godoy, a São Paulo native who has been living in Germany for many years, also known as TEMPOESPACIO. For over 20 years, Marcelo has dedicated himself to sound research, exploring rhythms and the cultural forces that shape music. His musical approach blends techno, experimental, and organic influences, always seeing music as a transformative agent that connects and moves people.

Through TEMPOESPACIO, Marcelo channels his eclecticism into a sound that reflects both his deep connection with club culture and a vanguard perspective on sound experimentation. His sets create a true tension between body and sound, exploring contrasts between rhythmic precision and spontaneity, repetition and disruption. More than a sequence of tracks, each performance is an experiment in movement and perception, inviting the dancefloor to listen with their body.

Whether in the heart of Berlin’s electronic scene or in independent spaces with strong cultural identities, Marcelo’s music pulses with a sense of discovery, reshaping how we listen to and feel music.
