Having previously been on remix duty with Renaissance, Lehar steps into the limelight with his first full release on the label, 'Maybe Yes EP'. A heady concoction of retro synths, pulsating basslines and infectious drums, it makes for the perfect bookend to see out the year with a bang! Considering the EP as a whole, you can hear why Lehar is one of the best musical storytellers around as 'Maybe Yes' delivers a boundless journey. '2nd September' is an emotive piece of electronica that runs deep with a modernist edge; 'Feelings', comes tinged with indie-nostalgia; whilst title track, from which the EP takes its name, is a barnstorming earworm, set to take Xmas, the new year and beyond by storm.

Skatman Unveils Upcoming Double EP “ Believin’ " on Cognitive Prophecy

Berlin-based, Tunisian-born DJ, producer, and label curator Skatman is starting the new year with the release of his highly anticipated double EP, “ Believin’ ", dropping on the 10th of January via his acclaimed label, Cognitive Prophecy (CP records). Known for his genre-defying sets and productions, Skatman continues shaping contemporary electronic music's soundscape with this bold new release.

'Believin’’ serves as both a showcase of Skatman’s evolution as an artist, constantly pushing boundaries with collections that span multiple genres. This double EP is structured as a journey, blending hypnotic grooves, raw textures, and dreamy harmonies across seven tracks that flow seamlessly from the dance floor to introspective listening.

The EP opens with 'Fresh’, setting the stage with a raw, dark, and industrial broken beat offering that introduces Skatman’s sonic vision. It flows into the pulsating energy of 'Merci', a track juxtaposing minimalistic melodies with rich, textured layers. 'Feel It' injects an element of 90s house, while the title track, ‘Still Believin’ featuring the Hungarian singer Gianet, anchors the EP with its soulful vocals and hypnotic rhythms.

On the second half, 'Forget It' shifts gears, offering slight acidic elements, while 'Dream On' delivers an anthemic blend of cinematic melodies, epic vocals, and icy hi-hats. The EP concludes with 'Circle of Despair (Epilogue Beatless Version)', a meditative, ambient piece that leaves listeners in a reflective state.
