どこかの道中曲です。旅と聞くと私は爽やかな風の吹く広大な草原を思い浮かべます。そんなわけで今回の曲は割と爽やかで軽めな感じになっています。三拍子だから余計にね。好きです、三拍子。

This is a somewhere stage music. When I hear the word "journey", I think of vast grasslands with a fresh breeze. That's why this song is rather refreshing and light. It's even more so because it's in triple time. I like triple time.

This is a somewhere boss music. It's a music with the image of a perfectly normal person who can be found anywhere. It would be too long to write about my interpretation of "normal" here, so I'll skip it. But I think the song uses rather conventional phrases (I wonder).

Star Song

Fantasy Tributary ~ Shimmering Stream |  ファンタジー支流 〜 Shimmering Stream

This is actually a continuation of an old snippet that I had. That snippet mostly contain the intro.

My aim this time is to create a song that is short and sweet with Japan-esque melodies that are pleasant to listen too. I meant this song  to signify calm, pleasant streams on a mountain somewhere but I think it may be a bit too upbeat.

I guess streams in Gensokyo are much more exciting?

I think I'm getting a grip at this composing stuff but I can't shake the feeling that I'll lose my momentum soon. Not to mention school will be starting for me quite soon...

Regardless, I will try my best to deliver. I may branch to doing other genres, and/or transcribing songs later down the road.

As for this song, it's kinda refreshing to try out ZUN's older styles and instrumentation, this one especially is an homage to Mountain of Faith. Regular VI-VII-i works wonders. I also had fun playing around with the drum patterns.

 It may just be me but Touhou-like songs with this style of instrumentation are becoming rarer.  Not like it's a bad thing but like those who attempt DiPP-like/EoSD-like compositions it can be a neat departure from Pristine Bells/Elementics/etc.

Also, I worry about my song structure, this song is essentially;

A1 → B1 → A2 → B2

This can be boring, I tried to vary it a bit by adding a piano solo. In the future, I would like to try to add more verses and phrases like other songs.

どこかの道中曲です。なんとなく冷たそうで、でもどこか暖かい感じの曲になりました。イメージとしては雪が薄く積もった小道をスキップしている感じです。やめてください転んでしまいます。

This is a road song from somewhere. The song has a kind of cold, but somewhat warm feeling. The image is that of skipping along a path with a thin layer of snow. Please don't do that, you'll fall down.

It's some CD music. What is the most ideal way for a drinker to drink? It varies from person to person, but the desire to drink good sake must be the same. In my case, after trying various ways of drinking, I settle down to the usual way of drinking. This music is similar to that.

【東方風自作曲】蟒蛇の理想言語

どこかのボス曲です。日本の雪の妖怪といえば雪女がメジャーですね。誰彼構わず凍らせる恐ろしい妖怪かと思えば、気分によっては優しい一面を見せてくれます。ツンデレというやつでしょうか。
曲はゆったりしていますが後半になるにつれ激しさが増していきます。ツンデレです。

This is a boss music from somewhere. The major Japanese snow monster is the "Yuki Onna". You might think that she is a terrifying youkai that freezes everyone and everything, but depending on her mood, she shows a gentle side. 
The music is slow, but it gets more intense in the second half.

Greetings! I'm Tempura or Ocha, still hasn't decided which handle to go with.

I'm trying my best to be a decent composer! Mostly dealing with Touhou-styled stuff currently but is interested in other genres (Orchestral, Future-Bass etc.).
