With a video "Lockdown Diary," the Leipzig ensemble Tempus Konnex supports and encourages composers and musicians to think creatively during these challenging times. In partnership with the Forum of Contemporary Music Leipzig (FZML), Tempus Konnex founded the Ensemblefestival for contemporary music, which celebrated its first season in November 2020. The ongoing pandemic has prompted the artistic sector, including our festival, to scrutinize and reconceive conventional concert formats. Through these video diary entries, we are offering fresh compositions a platform, and continuing our momentum towards the second half of the Leipzig Ensemblefestival in April 2021.

So happy to share this live recording of my set at Envision 2024 from the deep jungle of Costa Rica. Operation Love Life is definitely in full swing.

It was an honour to stand on the iconic Lapa stage, tickle its amazing sound system and groove to one for most electric dance floors in the world. 

Envision will always hold a special place in my heart. The humans it attracts and the values it stands on are in full alignment with who I am an artists and more importantly a person.

As a fan, I loved sticking around to shimmy shake to many other incredible sets all weekend. Sticking my feet on dance floors and locking in is really important part to gather as much inspiration from other as possible. Making space to shut off my brain and just enjoy others do their thing. My highlights of the week were Paso Doble, Maga, Drisss Skali, Parallelle & Chaim.

This sonic ride is my funky twist on the raw energy that these grounds evoke. Some unreleased thunder hiding in the cracks of this one.

Massive props to everyone who put this gathering together, I offer this set a token of my appreciation to your work. Otter if you read this, special thanks for how you held down Lapa all week. Of course deep respect for brother Driss for getting me out there.

Also blessed I got to share this moment with the home town homies Papa Tosh & Hunks / Unks, love you both.
