The remix pushes the original track into a deeper, more fast paced universe, with an unique sound design and an abundance of energy. Initial Code has made a name for himself in the Belgian music scene with a constant activity into it He is the founder of his own multimedia music journalism brand, InDepth, and has continuously developed his sound over the years. The Belgian artist proves his love and involvement for music through meticulous attention to detail and a focus on quality through multiple disciplines. With this first EP, Initial Code is revealing another facet of his artistic influences, both in the studio and behind the decks. He also showcases his ability to craft something more groovy and powerful, while still maintaining his signature style.

OECUS Premiere | Initial Code - Artificial Birds [XYS003]

Hi everyone, introduce you to the Extract series: music created during my live preformances. 

When performing Live I have a strong component of improvisation and control over midi sequencing, which leads to moments created spontaniously on stage that won't be replicable. Extract 01 corresponds to 5 minutes of my performance at Jardim Sonoro festival (2023), and to my interpretation this recording has a story to tell and lives by itself. Being also a DJ, the aim of the Extract series will be presenting music that can be played by DJ's, and I decided to release Extract 01 after playing it regularly (and naturally) on my sets. 

This is a vinyl only release (10") limited to 60 copies.

Dimi Angélis presents ANGLS 014 - four raw, spaced out, 909-driven tools in his characteristically direct and minimalistic style. Sparse, delicate sequences reverberate to provide a sense of space against classic drum patterns that build into a full workout.

The A1 opens with Third Eye - a slow, tense build with heavy low end and terse percussion, setting the tone. Endorama on the A2 is driven by a living bleep - distorted, repeating, but never quite the same.

Decka opens the B side with a remix of Intergalactic to provide a groove heavy, sequence-driven and lethal interpretation of Dimi’s sound. Chrysalis rounds off the package on the B2 with a rolling 101 bassline and descending bleep that hypnotizes and controls the listener.

Portuguese Techno maestro Temudo is back once again on @Soma Records with his latest EP, Not The End But A Change. A storming start to the year on Soma saw the young producer gaining huge plaudits for his music. His signature tripped out and driving sound is once again worked in with great attention to detail as 4 up tempo and hypnotic tracks drive this latest release.

Title track Not The End But a Change is a perfect example of why Temudo’s sound has become so sought after. His cleverly worked rhythms and sound design weave intricate patterns throughout the track and take on new life with every drop. The Beholder continues the hypnotic theme taking things a little deeper with wide, sweeping FX and subtle percussion driving an infectious groove. Self-Centered has a darker, edgier tone with pulsing sub bass, tweeked out percussive elements and anxiety inducing drones sending you over the precipice. Temudo closes out the EP with all guns blazing as Summaries dishes out machine gun like hit hats & punishing rhythms; made with minimalism in mind but delivered with maximal effect.
