My cover of "Tough Times". Originally recorded in 1953 by John Brim for the Parrot Record Company. This is just a rough draft I wanted to share for criticism purposes. Obviously it's very rough around the edges right now, and the vocals, harmonica, and drums are missing from the mix. They will be added later.

This one's an instrumental, done in the style of Muddy Waters in the late 40's when he was playing with "The Headcutters" (Baby Face Leroy, Little Walter, Jimmy Rogers and himself). This is heavily inspired by the single "Muddy Jumps One" from 1947, right down to the name. C+C Welcome and appreciated!

I'm a traditional style electric blue player, heavily inspired by the likes of Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Jimmy Rogers, Little Walter, other great Midwestern and Southern blues men and women. I play these old blues songs the way they were recorded, or try and get as close to them as possible.
