I came up with this music in a happy moment, when I heard the lyrics of an advertisement for a feather buyer still operating in Hungarian villages. I managed to record it and somehow this music came to my mind. It was meant to be humorous, but it was fun anyway, maybe you like it too?

Nessie Part 1 - Water Horse

This bouncy folkpop tune was penned by our own Tom Short and Tricia K. Smith and can be found on the Pumpkin Head Ted CD "Swamp Yankee". 
The music on this disc was recorded on January 2nd 2000 at Sound Station 7 in Providence,RI. Though we have primarily been a bar act, the band has believed for some time that we sound our best in the living-room, unamplified,at practice. Our goal for this recording was to create "the living-room vibe" as best as possible. Instead of using lots of studio tricks like isolation booths, over-dubs,and the like, we just got in a big circle around a bunch of microphones and played. We hope you enjoy the honest and casual sound we have tried to create.
