I was drinking wine and listening to old Go-Betweens .. and of course, Grant McLennan and remembering the time I met him many moons ago when the Go-Betweens were touring for 16 Lover's Lane and performed at a dive bar in the Cleveland Flats and what an absolute sweetheart he was/ what a lovely tribute!!

Tenant From Zero is Brooklyn based singer and songwriter Paul Darrah. His influences are pretty specific and find a distinct place in his music and vocal style: Everything But the Girl, David Sylvian, The Blue Nile, The Aluminum Group, Prefab Sprout and others. His debut ep The Nape of Your Neck was written and arranged by Paul and produced, engineered and mixed by Kurt Feldman (Ice Choir, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Roman a Clef, Kristin Kontrol). The record mines 'sophistipop' influences to acheive a layered, lush, melancholy, and moody sound.
